My roommate and I are currently entering midterm hell. [Full Disclosure: she has had midterms all through the month of October and MY hell is coming up at the moment... for the next two weeks.] So the blog will be a little sparse until we emerge victoriously from midterms. We do have several awesome posts lined up (soups, baked goods, kitchen gadgets) that we can not wait to share with y’all.
In the meantime, entertain yourselves by checking out some of the blogs we read (they’re on the blog roll on the side of our blog). Until then, we’ll be looking like these people…

Our suite is full of theater nuts. We’re nuts for the theater, especially me and my roommate who cooks. We first bonded over rushing Gypsy and saw approximately 15 shows last year. We tried to student rush a show (2, actually) a few weeks ago and and had our first student rush fail EVER. And we were able to get into a show that was completely sold out for the entire run last year. This student rush fail was a little demoralizing even if it did indirectly lead to the creation of this blog.
We’ve been going through a bit of Nathan Fillion phase since Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog came to our collective attention (although some of my roommates will argue that it is not a phase for them). Besides, there is no doubt that Nathan Fillion’s presence in our next movie “Waitress” made it that more enjoyable.
You know what else made it more enjoyable? PIE!
We were about 3 weeks into school and 2 weeks behind in our work after our promise to keep up with our work lapsed 2 weeks ago. So we decided to have a study par-tay! On a Friday night! Sorry, our nerd is showing. Although, to be fair, we didn’t accomplish much work. Homework deserves comfort food. And comfort food is breakfast for dinner.
